Sólveig Eva is a Brooklyn based actress and illustrator.

Her work ranges from TV, film, theatre, live performance art, fine art, improvisation and multimedia. 

Her research with Spindrift has been focused on sensations and their emotional/physical effect on the performer. She is passionate about identity and playfulness. She is currently working on the idea of Nonsense in theatre and everyday practice as a stimulation for the intuition, happiness and creative problem solving through a meditative rest of everyday logic. 

Before her acting training at Rose Bruford College she studied visual arts. Further training includes LAMDA, Meyerhold's Biomechanics under Gennadi Bodganov in Italy, Gardzienice under Staniewski in Poland, Eesti Muusika ja- Teatriakadeemia, Stella Adler Masterclass in New York, UCB Comedy, Song of the Goat Theatre and the Kevin Spacey Foundation in London.
